Se dice que la sabiduría consiste en saber dónde detenerse, pero en estos dos años yo decidí que lo mejor era no detenerse en absoluto. Mi obra se convirtió en una viajera incansable, saltando continentes con la ligereza de quien busca la luz perfecta. Fue un idilio entre dos mundos: de la energía desmedida de Dallas al asfalto magnético de New York, regresando siempre a la elegancia eterna de París y al eco sagrado de Roma.
Me divertí viendo cómo mis naves y mis sombras hablaban idiomas distintos, desde el pulso vibrante de Buenos Aires hasta los rincones con más sol de España. Entendí que un pintor es, en el fondo, un diplomático de la emoción; alguien capaz de llevar un pedazo de su estudio a los escenarios más exigentes del planeta sin perder la compostura. Fueron años de asombro constante, la prueba de que el arte no es un destino, sino el viaje mismo, y que no hay mayor lujo que descubrir que el mundo entero es, en realidad, un lienzo esperando a ser caminado.
It is said that wisdom consists in knowing where to stop, but during these two years, I decided it was best not to stop at all. My work became a restless traveler, leaping across continents with the lightness of one seeking the perfect light. It was an affair between two worlds: from the boundless energy of Dallas to the magnetic asphalt of New York, always returning to the eternal elegance of Paris and the sacred echo of Rome.
I had the time of my life watching my ships and shadows speak different languages, from the vibrant pulse of Buenos Aires to the sunniest corners of Spain. I understood that a painter is, at heart, a diplomat of emotion; someone capable of taking a piece of his studio to the world’s most demanding stages without ever losing his cool. These were years of constant wonder, proof that art is not a destination but the journey itself, and that there is no greater luxury than discovering that the entire world is, in reality, a canvas waiting to be walked upon.
