Se dice que el mundo es un libro y quienes no viajan solo leen una página; en estos dos años, yo decidí escribir el mío propio. Fue el tiempo de "Experiencias", un proyecto que dejó de ser una idea en el estudio para convertirse en un embajador itinerante. Crucé el Atlántico para llevar esta visión al LAM (Latino Art Museum) en California, convencido de que el arte no debe ser solo observado, sino habitado. Mi brújula no se detuvo allí: de la luz de Portugal al eco eterno de Roma, pasando por la vibrante Barcelona, cada escala fue una lección de cómo el trazo puede conectar continentes.
Me divertí jugando en las grandes ligas, desde el asfalto eléctrico de New York hasta el pulso de las ferias en España, entendiendo que la elegancia es la única belleza que nunca se marchita. Fue un bienio de aeropuertos y lienzos, de comprender que un pintor es también un arquitecto de momentos. Me convertí en un peatón global que, entre museos y horizontes nuevos, descubrió que la mejor obra de arte es aquella que te obliga a mirar el mundo como si fuera la primera vez que lo ves.
It is said that the world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page; during these two years, I decided to write my own. This was the era of "Experiences," a project that ceased to be a studio idea and became a traveling ambassador. I crossed the Atlantic to bring this vision to the MOLAA (Museum of Latin American Art) in California, convinced that art should not just be observed, but inhabited. My compass did not stop there: from the light of Portugal to the eternal echo of Rome, and through vibrant Barcelona, each stop was a lesson in how a stroke can connect continents.
I had the time of my life playing in the big leagues, from the electric asphalt of New York to the pulse of art fairs in Spain, understanding that elegance is the only beauty that never fades. It was a biennium of airports and canvases, of realizing that a painter is also an architect of moments. I became a global pedestrian who, amidst museums and new horizons, discovered that the finest work of art is the one that forces you to look at the world as if for the very first time.
