Crónicas de un Peatón

en el Borde del Sueño

Dicen que el mundo es un escenario, pero yo prefiero pensar que es un lienzo infinito que a veces, solo a veces, se deja atrapar en un marco. Soy Fran Borrego, un "transeúnte sin techo creativo" y un narrador que visualiza sus obras como fotogramas de una película donde los sentimientos, las vivencias y la técnica confluyen.

Como buen peatón de la vida, he aprendido que la realidad es demasiado importante como para tomársela completamente en serio, y demasiado bella como para no inmortalizarla. Mi proceso es una expedición sin mapa, una mixtura de acrílicos, témperas, tintas, café, té, resinas y pasteles. En mi paleta, el modernismo y el impresionismo conversan con el pop-art, el cómic y el arte aborigen australiano.

Fotografía: Como fotógrafo, cambio el pincel por el obturador para seguir narrando historias. Capturo instantes donde la realidad decide portarse como una obra de arte.

He compartido estas historias en más de 110 escenarios: desde la solemnidad de palacios, museos y el Senado, hasta la cercanía de hoteles, castillos y galerías. Cada paso es parte de este viaje que empecé como una "esponja" cuando era niño.

Chronicles of a Pedestrian

on the Edge of a Dream

They say the world is a stage, but I prefer to think of it as an infinite canvas that sometimes, just sometimes, allows itself to be caught in a frame. I am Fran Borrego, a "creative transient without a roof" and a storyteller who visualizes his works as film frames where feelings, experiences, and technique converge.

As a pedestrian of life, I have learned that reality is too important to be taken entirely seriously, and too beautiful not to be immortalized. My process is an expedition without a map, a mixture of acrylics, tempera, inks, coffee, tea, resins, and pastels. In my palette, Modernism and Impressionism converse with Pop-art, Comics, and Aboriginal art.
